Our Process
Here is what to expect as we get started.
Step #1: Schedule your free 30-minute initial call
There is nothing to stress about in this first call, all you need to bring is yourself! All we expect to accomplish in this call is getting to know you, understanding how we can help you as your financial planner, and determine if we are able to help you.
No sales tactics, no pressure. We want to help you, even if that means finding someone else.
Step #2: Sign agreements, get financially organized
Before we have you sign anything, we will walk you through how we charge for our services. After we get the agreements in place, it is time to get started on your financial plan!
At this step, we will get you logged into our secure, digital document vault to upload statements, documents, and anything else we may need. Before our first meeting, we will get your finances organized, and have a snapshot ready to review for our first meeting.
Step #3: First planning meeting
The first meeting is focused around making sure we address your priorities in the order you want them to be covered. We will also get to know more about your financial values, goals, and make sure the foundation of the plan is set before we do our thorough analysis and begin making recommendations.
We will also schedule our next two Zoom meetings to make sure we get your financial plan delivered to you in a timely manner.
Step #4: Create the comprehensive plan
In the first year of working together, we will cover all corners of your financial plan. Depending on what you already have in place, the amount of meetings it will take to get through the initial financial planning process may vary.
We promise to make every meeting worth it, and work through your financial plan at a pace comfortable with you.
This will be your initial state of harmony.
Step #5: Review, adjust, iterate
As life changes, so will the strategies we take to build out your state of harmony. We typically review 1-2 times per year, and are always available for a phone call, email, or Zoom meeting when life changes.
The best part is, since we already know you, making changes is usually much easier as we go along. We are here to help implement the adjustments you need to make in order to live your best life. Whether it is job change, a growing family, or adjusting your lifestyle, we have you covered.
